Other – Didn’t notice many folks on the slopes or any lift lines – no gates on REX today was nice. Bumps are getting nice and big in an ever increasing piece of GV. PB was still the most perfect smooth grooming you could want. Soup at CB was (as noted left overs) Loaded Potato – again, but those in charge said Chick Noodle might be in the New Year Day plan! Left overs on Thursday. Pretty wet at the base when we left, lodge was packed. Pay lot Computer over estimated again the required space needed, C lot half full, B lot maybe 1/3 full.

I've always appreciated the positive attitude you display in your reports, but "nice rain" is a phrase that is going to particularly stick in my mind
. Now why weren't there bigger holiday crowds? ???
I agree Jim, say better than the sticky cold snow turned warm, blinding fog, steady rain showers and rock and gaper dodging that I experienced while I was there...
We discussed that it was marginally better than work tho.

"Nice Rain" is somewhat less drenching overflowing the half full glass wet as recently noted by Mr. Eskinom on another somewhat wetter than preffered day...If not for #1 waiting at the base I could have suffered a little more of that "Nice Rain"...though when I checked the telemetry later it looked like it must have been pretty wet! - maybe "Not so Nice", maybe I got lucky leaving early. Crowds? Well you gotta look at the conditions - no Pow means the soft snow folks arent gonna be around, nasty grooming and ice down low means the groomer crowd will not repeat, rocks and dirt and brush mean the folks that look at their bases to often will not be around, bumps galore (yee haa!)getting bigger by the day means a lot of other folks will not be around....pretty much all around nasty crappy great for me conditions - no lift lines, no competion for what little is good in-bounds....equals almost private ski area durning the busy week. Looking foward to tomorrow. Happy New Year All! PS . WORK? And I am very easly pleased!I've always appreciated the positive attitude you display in your reports, but "nice rain" is a phrase that is going to particularly stick in my mind
