Cowboy ridge offered the goods up today for anyone willing to sacrifice visibility for soft turns as cloud hung to it most of the day. In general, the north-facing snow above 4.5k was great, with much less of a crust issue than there was on Sat. Didn't observe any major instabilities, nor much sluffing, but there were day-old debris from yesterday's warm, wet dump. Not frozen solid today, but they will be chickenheads for sure in the AM. Left around 2pm when issues w/ Skyline shut the chair down, drove home in the warm sunshine and made it back to town in time to catch the sunset.
Tomorrow should deliver, with the resort giving its customers what they want for Christmas - all lifts running and all zones open!
