Dec 21-23, 2013 Stevens Pass

Three days of trains and drips on the metal roof at Cascadia Inn in Skykomish, and three days in a row of turns in the rain.  We had good night skiing Saturday, with hardly any precip., then 2" fresh just below freezing Sunday PM, and full-on rain with the plastic poncho thing today while sampling up to 4-5" heavy mank and getting soaked.  Reality disappointed after the forecast, but we still had a great time.  Few crowds after Sat.    ...
