Yes, it was cold but nothing an extra layer and a neck gaiter didn't fix. Filtered sun, thin clouds and a very few snow flakes. Light was just a bit flat, but vis still ok. The whole front side was open, and all the groomers were in surprising good shape. Here and there we found it a bit scraped but you could see it coming. Off the groomed was the usual early season mixed bag, sticks, creeks, hummocks, mostly visible rocks. It is all pretty skied up, but there are plenty of fun places for those who like to look. 7th was a bit crusty and icy. It also had the worst vis. No crowd anywhere. Well worth it. It is going to get really scraped by Sun. Just for DDK - the soup was some chicken sh-t, but it was hot. The new Jupiter chair was running but not loading.
