Aaahhh…very nice day, finally smaller typical early season week day crowd – no lift line on GVex (only rode the lift with a few folks all morning), nice built up ramp by the lift opp’s today making easier loading at the bottom!, chair running closer to normal speed allowed for faster hamster runs, lots of sun, more rocks, firmer than expected snow in the shady areas of the Valley early, warmest day so far this season – will make the sun impacted slopes very firm tomorrow, better less hazy views, good hamster in a treadmill conditions. Got my first big blow up fall out of the way this season. Fun fun fun. Quit early today to do some chores, but still had more hamster runs than any other day this season. Conditions will continue to get worse on lots of slopes as the sun and skier traffic beat up the slopes, but its still lazy nice lift served fun on the snow skiing. (Better than skiing the Valley in June).

Yes, beautiful day, not many people out. Decent coverage but don't bring out the brand new gear yet.

Abused my body, abused my skis, abused my brain. Had lots of fun laughing our way through the bumps, ignoring the clunks and bangs of edge on rock or wood. Hard rutted styrosnow took its toll on the legs till the light crowd finally broke up the bumps a little. Ice tried to hide the rocks for awhile, but gave way to rocks being unavoidable somewhere on every run. Way too many Green Valley runs for anyone's psyche, and I'll be on a low Green Valley diet whenever real skiing is envoked. Can't see very many mogul troughs remaining rock free after the inversion warmup starts tomorrow.
