The high-speed-early-starting-quad-lifts enable fabulous riding and touring on the slopes of Mt Hood! I lost count of how many runs I took. And it is not just a little strip of snow under the chair. One can glide far wide and high for endless exploration and incredible views. Steady winds all day kept the corn soft but not deep. Perfect for carving and fun.
Mediocre expensive food in the lodge and good heavens, no espresso machine. Luckily I didn't go for the food. Huge full bar though.

Sweet - hopefully it wasn't too busy with the summer camps. Meandering over to ZigZag glacier and the upper canyon can be a lot of fun if the corn sets up well.
For food, the nachos from the bar usually don't disappoint!
