A perfect late spring day at Alpental made everybody happy and brought out the Hawaiian Shirt Brigade. Sun induced warmth meant that the snow got nice and mashed-potatoey early which made for slow motion turns in ankle deepness. A light crowd meant never more than a few minutes waiting to ride up and do it over again. Enjoyed St Bernard, Sessel, Cascade Cat Track, Lower Felsen, Armstrong, Breakover and The Fan, Nash and Snake Dance, hugging the rope all the way back to Lot 4 awesomeness. Tomorrow’s corn should be sweet as today’s corn dogs. TomK & Kerry.
