LOL. Using the old names to not lose the history.
So it looks like it pretty much didn't stop snowing since when I left yesterday. Reports from yesterday afternoon/evening were more or less snowing hard.
I arrived in Snoqualmie parking lot at 8:30 AM, tried to get there sooner but the warmth of my wife made that impossible. At least a foot of new snow where I had parked yesterday. Reports indicated face shots were in order at that time. Thanks to the bros that set the skin track and provided nice company.
By the time I got to the top of old Thunderbird the ski down was still very very nice. So much so that I decided to do another lap (even with time pressing). 2nd lap very fun as well though you could feel the snow start to pucker up.
Nothing steep skied but the snow felt solid and was right side up. Depending on the bond to the old surface, could make for some decent conditions all around in more serious terrain.

When I was purchasing some beverages at the gas station today I glanced over and noticed all the tracks coming down off Thunderbird. They looked pretty dang good.

Arrived sometime after 7am and ran into Morgan and Alpen (his dog) in the parking lot. Morgan set a great track up Thunderbird (thanks for breaking trail). The snow was nice and light early as we skied lines off Thunderbird/Thunderbolt. I was not expecting face shots on April 30th but had many with the poof snow on top. Ran into Griff and Lou (his dog) after a few runs and made some more turns and then finally one run down towards Wildside as the snow started to change.
Here is a bit of video from this morning's fun turns:

Gentlemen, thanks for the fine company to go along with the fine skiing.
April 21st felt like it was going to be the powder finale at the pass, but this little sleeper was a gift.
