Last day of the season started off with heavy top to bottom snow, and a frigid 12 degrees on top! If it was going to be cold at least it was also windy - with bad visibility. All that changed around noon and Whistler showed why it's the best spring skiing area in the world! (Why are you closing?) The early morning squall had left 3-4 inches of cold powder and in the areas around Flute that was good enough. Video shows about 100 nice powder turns in a row! Not bad for a 30 minute hike. My shadow made for a nice, quiet third "partner"
