Crystal - 04/18

The last lift served Thursday at Crystal. Variable kind of day. Snowing nicely bottom to top early morning when I arrived, very foggy at times, north facing slopes that I managed to do were very nice soft powder still, sunny slopes pretty unskiable. Did get a nice run in the Valley just before I left when the vis started to improve, best part of that was West Face area. Did a blind run down IceFerkBerg – lucky it was perfectly smooth groomed and nice and soft, would have been great with better vis. Early morning was mostly bump line down to Windy Pass from REX and Lucky Shot or OuterFerks. Heard Southback was really nice yesterday, but maybe not so nice today. Looked like vis was improving when I left. No rain today, a fair dusting of new soft early, some fog on goggles a few times during the day.

Other – Soup was Minestrone – again dang it, but with the next soup up being Clam Chow (hopefully for tomorrow). Pay lot not full, rest of A lot not completely full either. Tomorrow is the last lift served Friday at Crystal. Only three more days for HC – so sad.

You know Dan since this is mostly a touring site you probably could find a nice set of touring gear to get at back on HC.

I am working that, got the skis, got the skins, just got to get a few more things and make the effort, I still have a few more years to actually do it...but you know this is the lift served part of TAY, didn't know I needed to also tour to post? Lucky part is Blackcomb is open till late May on weekdays.

^^^not saying that you posted in the wrong place, just saying the odds of getting necessary gear are higher, just say what you need and it will appear! And then HC is at your command again.
I'll get you out of your hamster mode and into mine eventually! But then again it lessens the odds greatly of me finding untracked again, but I'll take that risk for you. 
I know, I know your just concerned that it will be so much fun that the habit may stick!
