Injured skier update was created by C Darrah

A year ago today, DeWitt was injured by a snowboarder at Crystal. He died on March 17. Details of his recovery, life and death are below:

Bummer. I see it said that Dewitt went face first into a tree, but was he wearing a helmet? I dont see where the article said yay or nay or if it would have made a difference.

I went to high school with DeWitt. We skied a bunch together back then but I've only seen him one time since. He was a great, fun loving and entertaining friend. This is a true loss, I am so sorry he is gone.

Colin, how did you know DeWitt?
