April 7, 2013 Mission Powder!

What a day, last day at the Ridge, and we wake up to new snow!  About 8-10" out of the wind, and much more than that where it had been wind transported.  It was admittedly a little thick in the base area, but from the bottom of the Liberator to the top it was dreamy pow! And of course since it was raining cats and dogs in town no one got out of bed on a Sunday morning, those who did were few.  All the runs that required hiking, were still mostly untouched till afternoon.  What a fun way to end the season, and this nice little freshet, will extend the hiking as well.

So is this what happened tomorrow? If so it looks like it will be a big day.
