Another lucky great day in the sun. Pretty firm early, started finding the soft spots by 9:30 and jumped into the skier left of PB at 10am with a nice BP right after that. PB skier left side and BP’s center sunny slots where the big run, GV Bowl very nice late morning till when I last skied it at 2:30. Big sun most of the day, but the leading edge high overcast started flowing in around 2pm which also started to drop the temps a little. Big REX ski lines were chairline and Memorial for me, heard that Sunnyside was to mucky so I did a high speed GS run down it around 2pm – the Coombas liked it a lot. More and more dirt starting to pop out in the usual places. Not many folks on the slopes again today. I really like these kind of spring days.
Other – Soup was Minestrone, shared a Rice Bowl with #1 while I rested a hard hit on my left shoulder (might be a little sore tomorrow). A lot pretty full by the end of the day, but not much action any where else. Great deep mucky mush spring powder kind of day, a little sticky in spots mid day, but I seem to have the right wax (or maybe not much wax) on my skis right now

East facers were soft and warm at 9:00 and demanded ditching the coat for the day. I was surprised at the lack of consolidation (aka - the Frontside and Campbell Basin) on aspects other then those that at some point had been groomed or were extremely skied out. Found the groove on big figure 8s down Valley Bowl-Sluceway-Lower E and then Powder Bowl-Luckyshot Bumps. Repeat. Fun today dodging the growing rocks and dirt, but it won't take many more sunny days to really impact a lot of off-piste runs.
Other: Skied in the sun through the "lunch break" with a Kokanee, power bar, and a Bush Light on the chair. Kept my eyes open, but didn't see any soup or taco truck. Crystal's feeling the lack-of-participation, providing about half the grooming of last week. Northway was closed today. Didn't have Coombas, my skis didn't say anything, but I liked today a lot.
