Late great report – at least I think its great. Fun day, big sun, no crowd at all – season over, yard work in going strong. Never saw a lift line today. Firm groomers for the first half hour and then if you went to the right places soft perfect mush was to be found – first up Lucky Trees bowl, then PB skier left, then the Pits, Sunny Side, Memorial and back to PB. The day became a big figure eight day – something off REX (GV Bowl to Memorial or something on the front side) then a run up HC to do a chair line run and then PB/BP’s, then repeat. A little sticky in places at times, but anything steep was fun muck. The Coombas where in Heaven today. Great way to spend Easter Sunday (rather than at the buffet line). Some brown spots showing up in places. I really like sunny, mucky, spring mush powder days!
Other – Soup was Loaded Baked Potato. Crowd in CB lodge seemed kinda small. A lot pretty full (couldn’t tell how many were pay folks), C kinda full, B full to the shuttle stop. Heard the sunrise party was big (200+ ? wow! ) wanted to go but the body and brain just did not work for that, also heard it was one of the best sunrise functions in years. Also heard the Dirtbag party was pretty wild and big last night. Only 21 more days for winter season and daily operation. Only 21 more days for HC – so sad.
Kinda wondering where all the hard core skiers were today.
