Took a Friday off and headed over to Mission Ridge for a pretty darn good day of sliding. Made the first load batch and scored chair number 6 at 0900. Snow had set up pretty hard overnight, so it was a groomer day and man, those groomers rewarded high speed railing. Zoom! Never much of a crowd at the lifts, usually just skied right on. Runs on the Bomber cliffs side were wider and smoother than the ones under the Microwave, even after things started softening up. Off-piste pole push test found a 1 inch crust over 2-3 of firm and a second layer, then down to a hard base at 7 inches. Weather was in the 40's and mostly overcast with an occasional patch of blue, then a light rain shower came in at 1400 so we called it good and headed back home after a nice on hill ham and cheddar Panini for lunch.
