Two days of sun/filtered sun. Blackcomb yesterday, Whistler today, both similar conditions. Cold till the sun comes over the peaks (10 at Bc, 7:30 at Whistler) and warm in the sun and afternoon. Styro-snow up high for firm but carvable bumps and high speed grooming everywhere. Awesome runs on the steeps off Glacier, 7th Heaven, Harmony, and Peak chairs. Lower mountain was soft slush over a firm base. Lift lines maxed at a 1-2 chair wait and steeper aspects were empty of people.
Best part, the "drive" home. A 1 minute walk, a 1 minute elevator ride and an hour on the deck with my favorite beverages. Then dinner with the Amigos. Much nicer than the normal 410 route.
Clouds and snow "flurries" for tomorrow.

And maybe even time for a lunch break to stretch out the day for the nasty commute. I do like ski in ski out days at Whistler, I'm ready to go soon. Been waiting for a report. CD must be saving money this year for Tahiti.

Adding day 3
Expected forecasted clouds and snow but got another day of filtered sun. Firmer in the morning freeze and then softer in the afternoon thaw. Touristly crowded on the groomed but empty on the off-piste bumps and steeps. Only lift line was at the bottom of the terrain park. Lots of nice steep bowls and bumps interspersed with soft, high-speed groomers (a lot of groomed and traversing to hook together the good stuff here). Ended the day with snow (kinda precipitating high fog) on top and 55 degrees at the base. Full spring skiing mode where freezing temps without new snow will not be nice.
Re: Parking attendant
The "parking attendant" ran out to meet me, grabbed my skis, and whisked them away to someplace safe and dry so I wouldn't have to carry them so far. He paused just long enough to ask about my day and say he'd bring my skis out in the morning. I did have to pay 15$ a day for required parking, however.
