What a great winter's day to end the Hyak lift served season on.
Hyak for first chair at 0855 was chilly, but windless. Snow on the freeway side had stayed cold so was in great shape. Hidden Valley was a bit sunbaked and refrozen, so wasn’t quite as fun first thing. There was a pretty decent crowd on the hill for last day, actually caused a lift line wait upon occasion. Overcast with sun peeking thru, Squirrels was wish we hadn’t due to the crusts, but everything else we ran was nice, nice, nice. Coverage is still great – they could run lifts for a couple more weeks if there were enough paying customers. TomK & Kerry, Bob & Dawn, Chad & Karrie
