March 23, 2013 Summit East

Jill, Hillary, Dale and I were in the line at 8:45am and waited until they started loading at 9am. It’s normal to load at 8:45am but today was a big line. The lines on the north side were skied the last 2 days with backcountry folks.  More lines than normal.  The ridge and tree lines were great. The groomers were also great. We rode with the guys that were in chair 2 at 9am and skied the backside. They said the south side was in the sun on Friday and was not great.  We skied the north side and it was nice.  The crowd grew and we got in the single line and it moved quickly. We skied for 2.5 hours. Lots of sunshine for the last weekend.
