All in all a great day. Big sun to start the day, smaller rush hour crowd in the morning, 4+ new and more in places almost covered yesterdays mayhem and made the left over pillows on snow pretty deep and fun. Wall to wall grooming on the main runs and it was a pretty perfect sight to see. Diamonds in the snow on all the early morning runs on REX – very pretty, would have been some nice pics and video. Blasting out South early and the King looked perfect at 9:30 – by 1pm it kinda looked like GV Bowl. Should be some big reports from out that way if anyone is willing to talk about it. Spent a nice casual day with #1 – got her up on HC multiple times and even PB, Yee Haa!. Heard so so report about NW and the typical big EH conditions. Best bumps – top of Crystal frontside down to Windy Pass and OuterFerks and some in the Valley. Another great day for lots of folks. Was snowing pretty good early afternoon, which was improving already great conditions, got really foggy grey for a short time late and then big sun when we left
Other – Soup, Minestrone again! (sounds like there will not be many options for the rest of the CB lodge food season). Actually pretended I was on vaca and had a lunch social break – very nice and allowed me to ski till almost 3pm – WOW! Pay lot seemed to have cars in it (and yes it was big as usual), C pretty full and B maybe almost ¾ full. CB lodge was a zoo at lunch time (so the Crystal accountants should be happy, the employees were not pleased about the short staff conditions they had to work in.

I always thought that they should hire taller employees!
Lucked out and the morning sun hid back behind the clouds as to not ruin the snow. Plus there were some cyclonic thundershowers that moved in and out from the daytime heating that dropped a couple inches during the day! Bonus!

Got lucky and hit the gate opening at S'back! Patrol checking for beeps as we filed through - a little peer pressure but welcomed. OMG - this is Spring? Untracked, smooth as a baby's butt, light as down feathers powder in late March - unreal. 3 laps and our legs were toast - didn't cross another track all day back there - life is good!
