Was surprised to have no challengers for first chair on Silver Fir when it started loading around 5 'til 9 this morning. Nor for 2nd chair, 3rd chair or really until the valley fog burned-off and the sun came out around 10. I guess you could call it an "Only chair" kind of morning  ;D

Despite temps remaining above freezing overnight, the groomers had done a superb job laying out a buttery smooth surface one really could let loose on! By lunchtime the snow was starting to corn-up nicely on the steeper terrain up top and was already cooked into mash in the flats at the bottom. Ran into TNT at lunchtime and took a few laps - seemed to be a locals-only kinda day with lots of folks zooming around hammering fast turns (and instructors goofing off because of their lack of work).

Headed-out at 13:00 as grayer clouds moved-in, content to log 25 laps on the double-wide padded seats in the warm morning sunshine without a raindrop in sight.

Sans one set of tracks from Ski Patrol, the rest of those were mine (click img to view more photos over on imgur)
