Uh Oh…unexpected Goldie Locks kinda day from my view (sorry I as usual had to much fun again), expected wet grey, got just the right amount of good vis and filtered sun all day, got just the right amount of new soft snow to make the north facing slopes very fun, got just the right amount of nobody on the slopes so it kind of felt like a private ski area. Big run was PB, first tracks in nice conditions at 8:20 – oh today was daylight savings time, so it was 9:20, okay repeat – many times! Lucky Shot grooming was very nice, IceFerkberg a little firmer till late in the early day when it was pretty nice and sun soft. Got some Pit runs during the mid day sun and a number of REX Showtime runs in the early afternoon till it was time to quit for the day. Best ski slopes where the typical shady north slopes – PB, GV Bowl and Elksort! Had fun down Kellys Gap and Lower E. Pretty nice day before the monsoon hits tomorrow (hopefully not).

Other – Soup was Butt Nut Squash again (ouch – did get a taste and it was very tasty). Pay lot smaller than normal but still not full (where are all you pay lot folks?), some over flow cars in the front of C lot. Nice big views around the dounut whole of Rainier. Fun day wish you’all could have been there. Wasn’t really ready to quit at 3pm – remember from now on either starting later or sittin around in CB lodge (or somewhere) might be required mid day to make it into the late day soft zone.

We decided to go up and ski until the rain soaked us.  ddk's description is accurate, and I thought he was just a Crystal marketing cheerleader! :)  We never saw any precipitation, wind, or views of Rainier's summit, left at 4.   First day testing the new KWild skis, and we had a Jim Jarnigan sighting, working on a defective REX chair.

Yee Haa...sorry I missed you again....it was a big fun day. Lots of folks think I work for marketing. The folks in marketing are happy that I cant bother them every day anymore (or at least that I'm to lazy to bother them - they be located in the bottom of the Alpine Inn). Now the lift op's - that's a whole other situation.
