Grippy snow provided effortless edging; haven't tripped over inside edges that many times in a day in a long time. Friends reported good waxless classic skiing in the afternoon. Off piste atop Hyak/Central found light pow over unsupportable crust over soft wet pow. Impressed that Red skied as well as it did, as reported in the March forum.

That is cool pic of Kendall. Something that has always intrigued me about the Stump is how from a distance you can easily see the old highline drag marks from logging operations, radiating from that mini knob about half way up on the right. But when you're down there in person, it's not like you can find those lines and use them as a run or ascent line or anything; it all looks like tight trees from the ground.
