March 2, 2013, Snoqualmie Pass was created by TomK
#24 – 3/2/13 – Hit first chair at Silver Fir at 0833 and scored as many nice creamy soft groomed runs as we wanted before taking the crossover to Hyak where the snow was just as creamy. Off piste pole test was pretty deep – 15 inches to the bottom, but we really skied just the top 4-5 even while dodging trees. Lift lines were very manageable with lots of ski-right-on trips up on this overcast yet balmy warm spring day. Even the bumpfields were soft and yielding. The corndogs we earned sure were tasty. Headed to the pass with zero expectations; they were exceeded. Beacon park was in great shape. Alpy skied well- soft bumps, smooth Nash, short/no lines. Goo off-piste. Left at 3:30 as precip began in earnest. Snow above the Fan on 2, rain below.

Precip transitioned to fatty flakes at 6:50 at me shack perched at centrals base. I'm having a flashback to vertfest sat night. Thank you Santa.
