Pretty variable nice kinda day, definitely a lot better than expected, more filtered sun, great vis all day (high cloud bands passing by grayed the light at times but then the clouds would thin and the slopes would get bright again), did lots of PB/OF runs (how many? It was my number one repeat hamster run of the day), did a few runs out to the Throne – nice snow out there, traverse out pretty smooth and fast, the bumps off the top of HC are even for me pretty hard and icy, few rocks but still not to bad. Pretty light lift line crowd (never a line on REX or HC, some crowding on FQex at times), groomers that I did where fast and smooth early, GV bowl nice skier center to right, got my own private bowl of Chicken Noodle soup! at CB lodge – probably will be the main soup tomorrow. Lots of folks eating lots of food in CB lodge mid day – skis parked from the main entrance almost to FQex (they need more ski racks).
Other info – Soup was CCC again, plus other regulars (and if you asked really nicely you could get a bowl of Chick Noodle – Yee Haa). Pay lot not totally full as usual but fuller than I expected, B half full, C pretty full, a lot less motor homes in the lots, 6 ½ buses. Fun day as usual.
