8" total overnight and cooler weather made for a great morning. We were on the lift by 8:50, and got full runs of unbroken snow in Orion trees and under the power lines. After the back got heavy and compacted we hit Rock Garden (foggy and over-used) then sought variations around Tye Bowl and Gun Tower (held good snow even after lots of use). Plenty of protected snow built up in the woods on N and sheltered spots.

Mack, one of these days it would be great to catch up with you when your at Stevens for the weekend.  We spent the last few days doing lift assisted bootpacks and skinning. Great snow all over the place. It was nice to be able to ski some runs that are normally off limits (at least to me) due to avy exposure. The wind direction + bonding opened up lines I don't ski much. Although, we did find some spooky windloaded snow in the Fleur De Lis.
