Valentine's Date with my wife at NCHeli.  Spectacular!  It was nothing like the classic open powder field ads for Canadian Heli Skiing.  We got to ski steep chutes, get out of the helicopter on crazy knife edge ridges, pick your own line, jump off stuff... With no new snow comes terrain freedom.  I'm still buzzing.

Here is some video from the day

Anyone besides me think this is funny?

Here is a picture of the snow conditions as modeled by my date:

and one for fun-

What a day.  There was a group of 8 headed in to the Barron Yurt as we returned from our heli day.  Everyone up there is smiling.

By the way, I won this trip at an auction.  NCH donated the day to the Mission Ridge Ski Team.   Thanks NCHeli!

Man did that look like fun! How long was your day? Any idea how much skiing you got in - looked like plenty?

Nice Mike!
Another heli advantage is to be able to go where the snow is. I was out on Wed and all we got was windblown. Looks like you had the ultimate Valentines date for a pair of skiers. Not gonna add that to your uphill vert though are you? C'mon back for some of that when it snows next!
