An alpine start saw me roll in the lot at 1pm. Expected it to be skied out. A quick lap down Debbie's then up Chair2 for the duration. Plenty of excellent lighter snow up there. Break over, Hoatleys, Powder Bowl, Schlucht/Pyramid all great. Ended down Nash/Adrenalin (what? No bumps?!) then over to Shottish 4 and down. If what I saw predicted arrives its your moral duty to be up there tomorrow.
Nash gate closed, Elevator open but described as difficult.

Yep. Very nice up top this morning at opening bell and best part no one there and no lift lines.
Caught E gate after opening. Wasnt sure I wanted to but had to just to see. As suspected the heavier snow of the lower mountain was located there too. Why I though it might be different, well, let's just say its the eternal optimist in me.
But not that bad since new snow is always new snow and easier to turn in then anything else. But alas that was all I needed and was out by 1130 AM.
And tomorrow looks awful, I would not show up if I were you.........

Chuck, 'If what I saw predicted arrives its your moral duty to be up there tomorrow.' can you enlighten on the weather you're looking at?

I do believe he was talking less about the weather and more about the likelihood of the upper gate opening. Which it did, around the crack of 10:45 this morning after an impressive display of explosive cornice control and a few big slides into Sharon Bowl.
