Better that expected conditions for Wednesday night lessons. Much of the night no precip fell and when it did it was just drizzle. The groomed slopes skied well -- compacted enough to be supportive, but warm enough to have a soft surface. Railing GS turns on the nearly empty slopes was easy. The steepish runs off Triple-60 (parachute, Triple-60 face) had low soft bumps that were fun to dance down.
Off the groomed areas -- deep, very heavy manky mashed potatoes -- also noted some skier trigger sluffs on short steep pitches inbounds.
