Girlfriend and I headed to West on the 24th, took her down 360 Bowl and Wildside for her first time. She really enjoyed it as it was just enough off the run to challenge her. After that we traversed over to Parachute and then played on Central for a bit before heading home.
On the 25th, we headed to Central which really sucked. The conditions were really bad with a nasty layer on top after it rained for some of the day. We called it a 3-4 hour day and headed home.
26th was a wicked fun day at East and at Alpental. Not sure I can say I've seen Upper Nash ski that good before and the snow was just really fun, enough to get you going fast, but plenty of pow stashes if you searched for them throughout the day. I had the thought to take my girlfriend to the top of Chair 2 on the left bowl, however, it was so moguly she took about 10 mins to go down the initial steep face, after that she had a blast on the smaller bumps and shredded some fun pow in the bowl proper.
It was snowing pretty hard when we left and apparently enough to get 7 inches in 24 hours.
Good times!
