Hit Hyak at 0915 to a kinda crusty opening run down the wide open Kendal. Fun sweeping it side to side on rails, both front and back. Overcast with snow showers all morning, keeping an eye on and skipping the fogbanks that kept drifting in and out. Cover was a scrim of less than half an inch over a tough 1-2 inches of firmness. Found lots of fun turns in the backside trees once I got brave enough to speed things up. Rampart choke point was a heinous hell frozen run o ruts mixed with death cookies.  The wagon road however was the creamy goodness of untrammeled turns. Never had much of a lift line except when the big Nordic class all loaded up. Spotted hyak Jack on his sno-bike. An interesting looking bit of kit that. TomK & Kerry.
