Very nice day all in all, not as warm or sunny, but it was even less crowded than the last couple of days. Pulled into the A lot at 8:30, jumped into an empty bucket at 8:50, nice early filtered sun, felt nice an warm the first couple of hours. Did a couple of laps on PB/OF’s, both still nice and fast. But interesting high clouds blocked the low sun by mid day and that decided pretty much what would be skiable for the rest. Bumped into Jeff (works Campbell Basin) who was free skiing today and that kept the hamster runs in high gear – thanks Jeff. Valley, PB/OF, Valley/Lower Ferk, PB/BP…repeat. No sunny slope skiing today other than short sections in lower BP’s and IceFerkBerg (which I gotta say was not primo). No lift lines, nobody on the slopes. Nice last almost sunny day, hopefully we can go through a couple of months of no sun – even I’m ready for that. Ski patrol again shoveled a lot of snow at the top of HC – Thanks it helped.

Other info – Soup was Tomato Basil (heard the menu is gonna be changing a lot pretty soon based on customer suggestions or complaints, take your pick). Pay lot was way over sized and way under full, all the cars parked at Crystal today could have filled three quarters of the A lot. Noticed a guy I see all the time (and didn’t know till today), was gonna be playing in the Bullwheel for an Elysian Brew Company function – David Buhler – nice to finally meet him, nice guitar work. Ended up another late day at Crystal…kinda fun actually, almost fill like a regular. Got a worker T shirt also – yee haa.
