Jan 21 st. Grandes Montets was created by Scotsman
It was snowing in the morning and due to jet lag we were up at 5 am so we drive to Argentiere and had coffee and croissants with the locals. First tram to the top and then we skied fresh pow back to the ski area. Few more laps of the tram and we had antipasta in one of the lodges. The soup was plain tomato.
Few more laps and the weather started coming in so we called it a day .
Mountain was empty, car parks half full.

Thanks for sharing all!

Can you provide an overall state of the season report. I have been thinking about going to Cham this spring and wondering what kind of season they are having.......

Griff,
From what our guide told us and what we found today the conditions are superb.
The ski areas are tracked out since there has been no new snow for a couple of days but it's been very cold and the snow in the sheltered bc , north facing valleys is hero pow.
Coverage according to the guide is good although the snow depth in Courmayeur is a lot less.
