Pretty perfect day if you have to suffer no new snow…big Canada to Oregon views, lots of blue skies, lots of big bright sun, warm enough conditions to get spring skiing on HC chair line and REX front side (probably other sunny slopes also, just never made it to any of those), pretty perfect styro wind smooth perfection in GV Bowl/PB/BP…got me to do 6 PB’s today, got me to end the day with many unknown quantity of GV/Memorial Forest runs (packed winter to spring slush – I do love that combo). Rocks getting a little worse off the top of HC heading south.
Other info – soup was Fire Roasted Tomato Ancho. No crowds on the slopes, no lift lines, Pay lot had some effort and filled a lot of it, 8 Buses of folks, no afternoon shuttle service – so I guess most of the rest of the lots were pretty empty. Fun day – I do really like these kind of days of nice cold shady slopes and big mushy sunny slopes.
