Interesting day, lots of early clouds, but most of the day was either full on sun or filtered sun, strong northwest winds shut down the Gondy, but there was almost no winds on any of the other lifts – big wind gusts blowing across the top of IceFerkBerg made that the primo groomer run from the numerous people asking if I’d skied it (I did more than once), new snow was covering the run making it better than when its perfect corduroy. Wind filling and grooming of PB and BP’s plus other areas made for nice skiing. Felt warm on the south facing wind protected slopes (and lifts). Very light crowd, no lift lines, what groomers I saw looked nice. Fun day all in all from many comments I heard.
Other info – soup was French Onion. I tried the Udon bowl! Very good, but way too much. Pay lot was weekend sized and almost as empty as the F lot. No shuttles running do to the low crowd.
