Friday - Entertaining day out, spent most of day at home with my girlfriend as she had gotten off work at 7am and slept till 12. After she got up, we headed up to Central for a play date. Ended up just enjoying the day, having a beer or two and relaxing doing a few runs before we headed home.
Saturday - Dropped gf over at Central for her first group lesson, and I shuttled over to Alpental. I had setup a private lesson and cancelled it at Central due to visability (terrible). Once I got to Alpental I did a lap on Armstrong and the visibility was fantastic, so I resigned up for a lesson and did a 2 hour private. Finished the private, met my girlfriend for lunch and then skied a few laps with her at Alpental.
After we finished a few laps, I met my friend Danny and Yoshiko came up, Yoshiko ended up skiing with my girlfriend and Danny took me out to play. Had a blast hanging with someone with 50 years of skiing experience, awesome to see what I hope to do when I'm in my late mid 50's!
Overall, great day, though I will say one thing, Upper Nash is more like Upper trash as of yesterday.
