Jill and I arrived at 8:45am and I saw a few folks already on the lift. We had our two grandsons 11 and 8yo. We have not skied with them in a year since they moved from North Bend to the Lake Steven area. We had them learn at the Webb Ski School for years. The 11yo got some Twin tips and the 8yo started to snowboard. The grooming was great. We spent 2.5 hours and we had no lift lines. The twin tip user was on the groomers for the first run but the tree runs is where he went. A few jumps and finding a couple brush wings. The snowboarder started getting off the lift after 4 biffs he started being stable. I have been riding the intermediate runs daily but skied the groomed Hyak Face with the twin tip buddy. I am getting more confident as the days start feeling more like the old days. The temperature was in the mid 27 degrees with a light powder dusting and around noon a bit of sunshine. As we drove west, it was snowing until about 1500vf and then it started raining until we got home in Redmond. Great day.
