Crystal...12/18 or 12/20?

have one day for Crystal run this week...thoughts on tomorrow vs. Thursday when next part of storm will have probably dumped another 12"....will the top be open tomorrow?

Given that the bottom of Rex looks like this, it may be slow opening tomorrow, especially North and Six. I'm going tuesday and wednesday. We'll leave some for thursday, really.

Based on past experience...tomorrow will be a cluster f.k of standing around waiting for the goods..top will be open, but you better be in line before 8am...Its been a big storm, but todays winds (except for maybe direction) havent been as bad as some days recently - check the telemetry - one really bad hour overnight, most of today the gusts seemed no worse than other days, but the direction and the really big snow fall will be the big limit. Lots of bombs in the morning, really big crowd arriving early for the big opening - one chair at a time...but maybe tomorrow will be different...will not matter to me (otherwise Id be standing in the big crowds) - we're heading to warmer climates for a few days. So if you only have one day...Thursday will still be good, as will most of the next week. I'm sure CM(only)Skier will have left a few nice lines. Make sure you report on the soup at the CB lodge! - since some folks cant waste that much time.
