December 15-16, 2012 Stevens

Saturday started with a dusting, then up to 4" of fresh off of Big Chief under the lights (first day of night skiing---yay).  We stayed at the Cascadia Inn in Skykomish, and it snowed most of the night.  Sunday breakfast buffet at 7:30 gave us an early start, and we were on a chair before 9 AM and marking up 7-8" nice light snow right where we left off the evening before.  Good cut-up leftovers on Tye Mill, and heavier but still nice on Nancy Chute.  We left at 1 PM. 

Amazing how two days of fresh snow got our minds off the world's troubles.    :'(
