Fun. Especially so when everyone went home at 2pm and left us a snowstorm. Precip early in the storm fell as proto-graupel.
Coverage is good-enough most everywhere.

Very socked in early. First run down International was basically blind, but there was enough new to just let em run and deal with the not so consequential consequences. The snow was soft and light enough to produce a bunch of face shots. Good coverage other than the creeks down low and a few holes here and there. Lots of tracks even prior to 1st chair. Obviously a bunch of TAY'ers lapping the goods prior to opening day.
Also, saw one of the avvy dogs charging with a patroller down lower International. Maybe my favorite thing on earth to watch!

It was even better Sunday. Deep and light with much to be enjoyed as the crowds were nil. No need to ask Santa for snow, he delivered early.

Sunday was a nice improvement with more snow and better vis, but I wouldn't say the crowds were nil. Almost as big as Sat early (did you see that insane line up 100+ for the rope drop on Nash?) but they did dissipate a little earlier. Elevator gate opening @11:20 thinned things out, and they were nil after Ch2 broke down for ~25 min, then re-opened @2:10pm. Very good opening weekend and the new snow is greatly appreciated, there are plenty of holes still peppering the slopes below 4K.

Missed the line up fortunately. Was dealing with someone's broken foot in the aid room.
