Ouch! Didn’t want to over use that B word…but I imagine a lot of folks thought today was really really #ig! Everything was open today, everywhere it was deep, it was snowing hard in the afternoon and filling things in nicely with smooth fast new. Pretty fair crowd but with all the lifts running (mostly good, though I heard GV might have been slow in the morning) the crowd was mostly dispersed. Still in what apparently was a short line out Northway, okay but I got kinda cold on that trip – company of the Ferk’s made up for it. PB was great with no afternoon line on HC. Bearpits was getting better after the morning frenzy. Passed through a packed CB lodge – lots of people eating lots of food – soup was Minestrone again today. Most everything is skiing better, less ice hits. Finished the day with an Exterminator run (looked like there was a lot of fun when the opened it, I still found it enjoyable for the first time this season). Pay lot was huge today and equally empty, B lot looked 2/3 full with C,D and E all pretty full of cars – so it was a pretty good crowd. Its only gonna be better tomorrow before the rumored warm spell.

POWDER FRENZY!!!!!!!
Some deep, deeeep pow in the BC. Stability was good on the aspect we were skiing. Not wind affected but nice stable storm snow.

PNWBrit( Banned) did some fine trail breaking today in his new lightweight gear. Thanks buddy.

We did come across some major whoomps on a North East aspect within the resort. We were standing at the top of a steep rollover and the whole slope settled about two inches with a loud whoomp. It did it again as we moved forward. There's some layers out there especially on certain aspects and shading.

What a day.. wish I didn't have to work tomorrow!

Nice day. Lots of pow, a little heavy in places. The lightweight Amigoette had trouble blasting through once the pow was cut. Us heavier ones felt great. Morning sun quickly turned to puking snow and wind as the front cleared the Cascades. Driven to trees by visibility, it got better with every run. Go monday.

To Scottsman's comment. Places on the Frontside had slab releases of 6-8" and 20-30 yards wide that slid down to the rain crust on the steeper rollovers.
