Nearly didn't go...fog at top...went anyway as soon as I reached the top. Rainier sucker hole appeared and stayed all day..sun and good skiing. Storm clouds all around but sun sun sun at crystal.

West face good.
Frontside good if a little bare in places.
Hooked up with the Alpental refugees who as usual were "keeping it real" and skiing hard and everything gnarly.

What a gift of day.

Priceless. My son would prefer to play video games tomorrow while I hobble around the N Fork of the Teanaway.

Quite possibly one of the best Spring days we had this late season, snow was great from bell to (almost) bell. Great to see you, hope your FD tour with the son is a good one.
