Another really nice day, maybe one of the best spring days. Big sunny, cool in the morning but after only two early runs down buttery LS, the third run was Sunnyside and My Oh My was it already soft and smooth and Yee Haa the game was on. Rest of the day was mostly a blur of fast screamer GS turns on Sunnyside, great bump turns on REX chair line and freefall fun in Bearpits (worth many repeats). Bumped into QF having fun and a few other friends. Great day in the spring sun, will it ever end? Will I ever be able to quit? Not! Snow is melting fast in places, cant do lower E with out walking on dirt. Upper Bull was nice but getting into what is left of Lower Ferk was a challenge at the end of the day. Tomorrow will probably be the last easy day to ski all the way to the bottom. The couple of inches of new yesterday made the Valley very nice. Skied past Grubstake to check out the big timber clearing project out SnortElk day – they took out a lot of big trees – looks like the top terminus of the Kelly Gap lift? Is that happening soon? Would be a nice rumor to start. No lift lines today, no soup report, A lot full (plus tourists), B and C had cars in them.
