Good times at Alpental today with what was perhaps some of the best Spring skiing this season.
Butt loads of snow, blue bird, and laps with a bunch of you k00ks.
Fun skiing and I would post pictures but I lost my camera somewhere in the gun barrel zone on our second or third lap through.
Sad pants, I really liked that little Panasonic Lumix, it was a great little camera.
If anyone happened across it, please hit me with a PM.
Can't believe they are closing Alpental with this much snow on the ground, it's insane.
Look forward to skiing with a lot of you down at Crystal this Spring.

Bummer about your camera - saw your message on the Chair 1 board. Hope it finds its way back to you.
Agreed about the insanity of closing Alpy. There's a ton of snow. Many ski areas don't see as much snow annually as we have as consolidated base. On the upside, if they do decide to close, it's about to be open season on Alpentouring ...
Sunny aspects softened about 1.5 hr after sunhit. Never really sticky, but soft enough that unscraped snow parted with variable ease. Nash stayed scraped, but mighty fun.
Late morning warming led to snow instability. Patrol closed Edelweiss for a while to do some ski cutting (camera focus caught the wire, not the patroller). Fun gaggle at the top of 2 at 4pm.

Thanks Charlie,
It's likely gone, but it would be nice if it did find it's way home, I've seen stranger things happen.
A good note to end on at Alpental, not that it's easy to say good bye to the season.
Props to the area for keeping it open to the 6th this year, you made a lot of people happy.
