Another very enjoyable day, started lazy jumping into the third bucket loaded after opening – empty, nice spacious ride with my number one spouse, somewhat foggy on parts of the upper mountain early, firmer snow conditions than the last couple of days which was a good thing, but the clouds parted, the snow got nice and soft (not sticky on the upper mountain anyway), bumped into unexpected Amigos and the fun oh meter went through the roof. Did some nice runs in the Valley and a few down REX chair line, watched a big slide come down the middle of PB all the way to the cat track at the bottom (LS was closed for a while right after the slide happened, noticed a few people standing at the top of the Queen when the slide happened, it left some snow boulders at the bottom). Snow quality was a lot better today than yesterday. The Sun was warm, the Hawaii shirts and sun glasses were perfect for the day. Took a short break to check out the soups – left over from Saturday – CCC and “Broccoli” Cheddar (with Potato on the board, but no actual Potato available) – I had a bodacious Burrito to go – ouch good and spent the afternoon finishing it. No crowds to speck of again today, no lift lines, sounds like a lot of food options will end after today. A little grey was blowing in mid afternoon on the upper mountain so we spent time on the deck at the base in the warm sun. A lot was full with some over flow into B and C lots. A very enjoyable last day of skiing in April.
