Fun day all in all, lots of early morning sun, two amigos to help me beat things up, soft groomers from the start – lucky, off piste somewhat challenging – not so much from the lumpys but more cause of the sticky soft new stuff (and maybe left over’s from yesterday), could have used some more of the right kind of wax (JD and BB what was it?). Not many folks on the slopes again today (could impact Crystal operations if no one shows up on days when its not even raining!), never a lift line. Tried to pound in a few lines in places for tomorrow, but anything off the main skied lines was like glue for me today. Kinda foggy nasty vis mid day, but was pretty good late (1:30???? Is that late?) when I bailed to be nice to Dad on his B-day. Plenty of vert at that point. Checked the soups – the posted one was Potato, the secret ones where CCC and Cheddar “Broccoli”…Jess is getting lazy on the specials board. Ended up fun – whats new with that, less new sticky snow or more real skiers would help make things even better. A lot full today, with some cars in C and B…Only one more day in April to get lazy up hill service at Crystal.
