Another bonus Friday (sadly the last lift served locally), 4 plus soft nice new over smooth enough not frozen snow – easy to carve through and the early morning tracks looked pretty, fairly light crowd – but a much more efficient group at cutting up pretty much everything in sight and since the vis was great it was easy to see what needed to be cut up. Had lots of great untracked lines from Upper Bull to Bearpits, with lots of Door runs. Bumped into Mr Ferk early and lucky for him it was his day off! Tough for me keeping up the non stop no wait runs chasing him pretty much everywhere all morning (and again in the afternoon just before I bailed). We tried to cut up everything and it might not be to nice tomorrow morning if it freezes hard tonight – gonna be a lot of nice little ice balls everywhere. Saw a few tracks down PB (that would be the place tomorrow). Soups were Potato and Mushroom (heard a rumor that the Soup Nazi got fired…hhhmmmm, finally got Chicken Noodle once and now have to start over trying to get it again). Nice and sunny early, got more and more foggy by the time I left with some ice pellets falling, no overly warm day – glad I wore extra stuff. No lift lines today again (thank you all for not showing up – but cause of you’all we will not have any more week day skiing without hiking in Washington), A lot was not even full today. Great day, you should have been there, very hamster like and lots of vert.
