Bonus morning, big sunny, warm, couple of new, perfect groomers (Lucky and IceFerkBerg), super light crowd, got first tracks down the center of the Valley and PB, just smooth enough and soft enough to be nice…but it really only lasted two hours – by 11:15 a storm cell blew in, by 12:15 it was snowing hard (somewhat damp but not rain), thinking it would only get worse Dean and I bailed before 1pm, but as I was walking to my truck the sun was out again, oh well had things to do. Only lot with cars was the A lot (pay part not full) – I assume the B and C lot was employee parking. Soup was Clam Chowder. Took the skinny skis thinking everything would be boiler plate hard, but the Coombas would have been a better choice today. Could use a hard freeze to set things up. Today being the last lift served Thursday it was a pretty nice day, better than expected.
