Crystal, conditions 4/12,13? was created by its_grand
Have only skied Crystal once and not familiar with weather in that area so based on forecast looking for input on likely conditions this Thurs and Fri?
Live in Seattle and have a few free lift tickets to burn by 4/15 with lodging for Thurs nt so debating if will be worth the trip, or wait for wkend and the sun. Do they groom much when there's hasn't been snow for a while or rely on temps/sun to soften it up? Looks like it be one of those in between days where the groomers may be fun for an hr then gets skied off and stays firm rest of day.
Thanks,
John

It's looking like a tough call the next couple days. Just started preciping at CM this afternoon at 38 degrees. Forecast for temps just above or just below freezing for wed. and thurs. It will be nasty ice if it freezes, even what they groom, after the last few days of very warm temps. Moisture in the forecast, but not enough to freshen the snow much if cold, occasional rain if warm. Still sounding like friday-sunday will be dry, but they are lowering the expectation of sunny days that was in the forecast earlier in the week and adding in more clouds.
They've been doing a good job of grooming, even with the sloppy snow.
