Today was a Marketing kind of day, a lot nicer than we all expected, very light crowd, couple of inches new to help smooth out the upper mountain, lots of sun early and plenty of sun breaks all day in all the right places, no lift lines at all anywhere, very nice early morning grooming (both early morning runs I did), HC open early and we had nice first tracks off the top, PB was very nice and stayed nice all day, BP’s got better as the heating sun cooked it, OurterFerks very fun, Braindamage was great early afternoon – big and wide and smooth with perfect sun backlight, HC chair line both skier right and left had great smooth soft sun warmed snow – skied a few lines that I had not done since the big 99 year, REX chair line skier right very nice mid afternoon and Sunnyside very pleasant with lots of untracked areas still, Valley bowl had some of the best skiable snow. Soups of the day – Tomato and Cheddar “Broccoli”, big news is the promise of Chicken Noodle for tomorrow! Cant wait to try it out. Pay lot almost perfect small sized today, cars in C lot, not much in B. It was a really nice end of winter season springish kind of day – our last lift served Wednesday at Crystal for this season – so sad.
