Even with increasing clouds, Silver Fir morning packed powder became buttered corn by 3pm below 3200'. Interesting to ski powder and corn in the same area on the same day.

Sounds a little like Sunday there only even warmer. I was expecting fairly "New Englandy" conditions but was pleasantly surprised. The new snow falling did not hurt (except that it was so warm that it melted on my clothing and it was hard to stay warm on the lifts - might be part of why I now have a bit of a cold...). I had to do the traverse over to Hyak (East) to get actual corn-ish snow on Sunday...
